We are tattoo apprentice's within our first few years of apprenticeship at Monster Ink Tattoo studio. Unfortunately COVID-19 has put a major pause on our apprentice at the shop, but we continue to practice and hone our craft within our Private Studio.

We pair together with local artists in British Columbia, and we are proud to offer unique collaborations in both our Private Studio and in our Online Store.

COVID-19
It's 2022 and COVID-19 Is still heavily active. BC has allowed the operation of Tattoo Parlors since Phase 2, but transmission is still a huge risk. We take this very seriously. Many personal service procedures have the potential to transmit viral infections such as hepatitis and human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), as well as bacterial skin infections such as streptococcus and staphylococcus.
COVID-19 Is no exception.

Art is a form of expression in all its diverse nature, where you can express far more than you ever could with words. I enjoy exploring the world through my art and translating what I see from the the inner turmoil of the human mind playfully expressed in fantasy-horror styled motifs, to abstract designs, character creations and more.

I am open to all forms of art and have been experimenting with various materials from Charcoal, Ink, Pencil, Oil and Acrylic since I was a child. More recently I have been learning to improve my Digital mediums as lead designer for our up and coming Merch Line. (Coming Soon!)

I am always open to chatting and coming up with a design for your next tattoo, and nothing stops me from making sure my clientele is satisfied with their final piece. I am not afraid to step out of my comfort zone and explore new styles and ideas. Tattooing has been an ongoing and sometimes challenging artform. Never the less I find the process of refining and making the final piece something special and memorable.

I started tattooing as an Apprentice at Monster Ink and have been apprenticing under Doug Dewhirst since April 2019. It has been a rocky few years with the pandemic outbreak but it has not dampened my desire to tattoo. Naturally I am not as talkative as my partner in crime, and am quite a quiet person. But if you have any questions, do not hesitate to send me a message and ask. My door is always open.
One question I do get asked a lot is what inspired me to become a tattoo artist. And to me its very simple.
I have always dabbled in art, preferring to go the route of Digital art, and Ink. But what draws me to tattooing is being a part of someone's journey. I find it is a big honour to tattoo someone for two reasons, and I live for these moments.

By being able to place a design they want and enjoy on their body it is an amazing and transformative process.
The insecurity someone can feel over a scar, a body part, or a trauma can be debilitating. And to be able to give someone back the confidence in their own body through a tattoo, to change that insecurity into a source of pride and confidence is an amazing gift. Those smiles are indescribable.

The second reason, I believe it is an honour to be able to etch a permanent memory into someone's skin. A time capsule of that moment. Be it a loved one; a daughter; a husband; a pet; a memory of a great time, or a hobby. The story of you is so personal to each individual to be able to have that person open up to you, and create the perfect piece for them, to express themselves, and those memories for the rest of their life is wonderful.

With each project, and with each tattoo, I continue to grow and learn and expand my skill range to incorporate a variety of different styles and techniques. My Favorite styles to do are Semi-Realism, Blackwork, Neo-Traditional Japanese, and Polka Trash. I love exploring Mythological pieces, and mixing Life from Death motifs. I love getting sucked into shading a piece, before the final reveal.

Consultation
The first step to any tattoo is a consultation with your potential artist. This lets us get to know you, so we can capture your ideas, and develop a tattoo that you will love for ages down the road.
Custom Tattoo Session
This is your next step after a consultation. Based on the criteria given by you, your artist will recommend one of our tattoo packages, which ranges from 1-4 hours at a base rate of 50$/hr or a custom session for your project, with a varied time. Only book this once you have received your Consultation appointment.
Touchups
This is the last step for your tattoo appointment. As an artist we stand by tattoos. That means If something isn't right, let us fix it. No matter the reason. Life happens, and we guarantee all our tattoos for 1 year.
